Do you remember those quizzes in teeny magazines that you could take to "find your style?"  Did you ever take them? Were you the Preppy Princess?  Or maybe the Hollywood Glamazon? Sport Spice or Girl Next Door?

Or were you like me.... never having a clear style path.  My teenage self was so frustrated! Why couldn't I make up my mind?! Geez, Jill...

Now I sorta love that about myself. I'm eclectic... according to my family I'm slightly hippie-ish. PotAto, potato. One day I'll be vibing Grace Kelly and the next I'm digging my bohemian skirt.  It keeps my closet interesting.

Currently, I've been drawn to bold prints like ikat, navajo, and color blocking.  Here are some of my favorite finds.

Ikat Dress - jcrew

I love how bold this dress is with still being floaty and soft.  I think the boldness of the print and the easy of the cut make it a dress very well balanced. Hmm... wonder if it'll be going on sale any time soon.

Coloring Blocking Belt - jcrew

I'm kind of late to the whole belt thing.  Sure I always liked belts, but I never invested in them unsure of if I'd end up using them or not.  Well, folks... I use them.  I use them all the ding dang time, and this one makes my heart go pitter patter. I have a pretty good feeling I could replicate it.  Do you feel a project coming on?

Navajo Scarf - Theodora & Callum

I ran across Theodora & Callum on complete accident.  I think I was googling researching something totally unrelated when I saw a picture of this scarf, and it sucked me right in.  Yet it was bittersweet; the most beautiful scarf (ignore the fact that it's been close to 100 degrees lately, ok?) but it was sold out! Sigh... it was probably for the best though; it wasn't what I would could a steal.  So I'll just keep a picture of it and dream longingly.

Rwandan Handbag - kate spade

via

Oh, this purse makes me very happy indeed.  Kate Spade has partnered up with Women for Women International, an organization who employs women in war-stricken countries and provides them training, fair wages, and a sustainable income.  Handbags and hope?  Need I say anything else?

Well All, I hope you've enjoyed feasting your eyes on my lovely finds... I'm sure this pool will never run dry.  Have a wonderful weekend!

Sincerely,

Jill
