Why is everybody leaving me?! I know I put on my deodorant... I brush my teeth. I'm a regular showerer now.
But still many of our dear friends are leaving Josh and I for the summer. Not cool guys... not cool. I know you have these wonderful internships in exciting cities, but can you at least take me with you?
Alas, I can not....
So here!!! Take some cookies, think of me. Don't forget that you kinda like me when you get back.
Speaking of friends, friends should help out friends in need of an intervention, right? Paula... dear, dearest Paula.... put down the butter... back awaaaaaaay from the sugar! Lady, this is getting a bit absurd.
I've seen my fair share of cookie recipes lately, but man oh man this one takes the cake. Figuratively speaking that is. Har, har, har, sometimes I crack myself up. These bad boys aren't exactly what you would call healthy if you catch my drift.
Dear friends, near and far.... make these cookies, because they are wonderfully awesome. But please, PLEASE share these with friends, because I don't want to be the reason your perfectly stellar eating habits were tarnished. Besides, sharing will make your kindergarten teacher happy.
Also, I forgot to write in the original post that my most wonderful sister was gracious enough to send me this magnificent recipe. She is one, you know what, of a baker... so is the madre. I guess it runs in the family!
