Today is going to be different than the typical Monday recipe post.  Today I'm still a bit tired from my trip to the good ol' OK.... I need a pick-me-up. When in need of a little jolt in the morning, coffee always does a good job.

When in need of a little inspirational jolt, looking to fashion or design always refreshes my mind.

So this morning I want to introduce you to someone you may or may not of heard of.  Her name is Carey Mulligan.  She is an actress.  I want her wardrobe.

Some of her films include: Pride & Prejudice, The Greatest, Never Let Me Go (have this from Netflix, but can't bring myself to watch it yet; it's a sad one), and An Education which garnered her an Oscar Nomination.

I also see on IMDB she is to play Daisy from The Great Gatsby which I'm so glad they are remaking.  Love that book; thanks Mrs. Posson.  Mrs. Posson = best English teacher ever.

Lately, I find myself drawn to English fashion icons vs. American ones.  What I love about Carey Mulligan's style is that she always looks feminine, but not overtly girly.  She has polish and doesn't look trendy.

So what do you think? Are you drawn to a particular style or style icon?

Sincerely,

Jill
